At Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), our horses benefit the lives of over 25,000 disabled children and adults. With fun activities like riding and carriage driving, we provide therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement – all supported by 18,000 amazing volunteers and trained coaches at 500 RDA groups and commercial riding centres all over the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity available for Head of Coaching.
The staff and volunteers who lead and support our participant sessions, from newly trained side-walkers through to our advanced coaches, are our most valued assets, along with our beloved horses and ponies. Increasing the number of coaches on our pathways and maximising their potential and impact is at the heart of this role. Our coaches are already highly respected in the equine world, and we aspire to world class excellence and best practice.
The Head of Coaching is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and elevating the quality and impact of coaching across the organisation. The role holder will play a critical role in developing and implementing coaching strategies, training programs, and resources to ensure excellence in equine-based activities and therapeutic riding for individuals with disabilities and long-term health conditions.
The Head of Coaching will collaborate closely with RDA Coaches, volunteers, and stakeholders to enhance the participant experience and uphold the organisation's commitment to safety, inclusivity, and best practices.

This post is full time, permanent and based at our RDA National Office - Lowlands Equestrian Centre, Warwick
Salary range: approx £45k per annum dependant upon experience
