Townfields Saddlery, one of the largest and most popular independent Equine Retailers in the West Midlands, with a thriving showroom and mail order service, is currently seeking a Mail Order Assistant for a Maternity Cover Post.

If you would like to work in a busy environment and know your exercise sheet from your fly rug - then we'd love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will need to live locally to our offices in order to reach our offices in Allesley, Coventry CV5 9FE and is a very customer facing role.

The role consists of the following...

  • Dealing with telephone orders, website orders, customer enquiries.
  • Ability to work to a deadline to achieve excellent customer service.
  • Good communication skills with attention to detail.
  • A busy role picking, packing parcels and dealing with dispatches and returns.
  • Providing an excellent service throughout your role.
  • Good IT skills and social media knowledge are essential to promote Townfields.
  • Ability to work as a team supporting the Showroom/Show unit preparation when busy or required with large deliveries
  • Punctuality and trustworthiness are a must

Regular hours 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday at our premises in Coventry, weekends are generally not required for this role but very occasionally you may be asked to work in our showroom on a weekend
