World Horse Welfare is an international charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on care.

In this exciting new role you will work closely with the Senior Marketing and Promotions Officer to realise World Horse Welfare’s full fundraising and membership potential, focusing on donor recruitment, membership acquisition, and delivering successful fundraising campaigns to maximise the charity’s income.   

Our ideal candidate will be;

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Have experience in a marketing role where you have contributed to the development and implementation of promotional plans. 
  • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of data capture, usage and relationship building. 
  • An understanding and practical experience of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other social media channels would be advantageous.

You will have excellent communication, social and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. 

A flexible approach to work is essential as you may be required to occasionally work outside of normal office hours and be prepared to travel within the UK staying away from home.

Interest and empathy with World Horse Welfare aims and activities along with the knowledge of equines would be desirable.

If successful you will be expected to demonstrate the charity’s values of being realistic, compassionate and forward-thinking. 

This role is office based at our Head Office in Norfolk, with some home working.
