DJ Murphy is an award-winning independent publishing house based in Farnham, Surrey.
We love publishing magazines and we believe that the passion we have for what we do is reflected in our market-leading publications.
We’re looking for a motivated and creative marketing assistant to join our small team. You’ll be responsible for creating content for our active social channels as well as implementing paid campaigns, updating our websites, planning and creating video content and working closely with the editorial team to plan digital content and promotion of our magazines.
Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 1-2 year’s experience in a marketing role. We’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic with high attention to detail, motivated, has great organisational skills, good writing ability and is confident with social media.
The role will involve:
You’ll be working closely with the digital marketing manager to plan and implement social content that resonates with our readers. You’ll mainly be working on our equestrian brands, Horse&Rider and PONY, so a passion for all things horses is a must!
Alongside the digital team you’ll be working with the editorial team to implement digital content and our design team to produce eye-catching graphics for use across our websites and digital channels. You’ll need to be a great communicator in order to understand and implement editorial’s visions and also to brief ideas to our great design team.
As well as working from the office you’ll also be attending photo shoots with top riders in order to post great social content for our channels and to get video footage for instructional videos and social promotions.
Own transport and a valid UK driving licence are necessary due to our location and to be able to attend off-site shoots. There is on-site free parking at our office.
