Speedgate Enterprises Ltd - one of the leading equestrian retailers in the UK, are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small Marketing team. We are a small family business based in Kent with a busy Saddlery and Feed Barn in Fawkham and a thriving Equine and Pet store in Headcorn.
Job requirements:
- The jobholder should have experience in the retail industry, ideally in the equestrian sector.
- The jobholder will have a history of excellent customer service skills, as well as up to date product knowledge.
- The jobholder should demonstrate the ability to identify and exploit unique selling points across all ranges of products in the business.
- The jobholder will require good interpersonal skills in order to welcome and adopt ideas from all areas of the business before deciding on and implementing management-agreed strategies.
- The jobholder should possess a standard of creative software knowledge in order to be able to maintain dynamic store and website merchandising.
- Good knowledge and experience of Photoshop is essential.
- Experience of Mailchimp would be an advantage.
- The jobholder should have a natural flair for merchandising and design as well as knowledge across digital platforms.
- The jobholder should understand the principles of sales & marketing and be able to view their responsibilities in that context.
This job is an office-based part time position, hours/days negotiable to the right candidate.
Remuneration package will be offered, based on skills and experience.
