Saddles Direct are looking for a super enthusiastic person who loves marketing, social media & everything horsey?
Are you passionate about the equestrian industry and competitive enough to want to lead the way and not be a follower – can you make some noise utilising social, tik-tok, & youtube. Do you love being in front of an audience engaging with customers at events and on camera. Are you computer savvy, a great copywriter with excellent written and communication skills… If yes then we would love to talk to you!
We are a small company with a huge heart Founded n 2004, we are seriously passionate about horse welfare and we have been helping our customers find their perfect saddle for nearly 20 years. We are “The Saddle People” & are just going through a very exciting re brand, with new products, a new website & we want a new team member to tell the world all about the amazing things we do.
Main responsibilities and duties but not be limited to:
Organising & attending events, demos and shows Engaging with the whole industry to create opportunities to work with other companies
Representing the Saddles Direct brand at key AGM and Industry events & all media opportunities
Create exciting & relevent content, for all social posts, reels, videos and blogs for all social media platforms and website
Email and direct marketing campaigns for B2C and B2B customers
Sourcing and managing our brand ambassadors, liaising with them for photo shoots and events & driving content from them.
General customer service, office and admin responsibilities
Manage all social media messages, responses, and enquiries
Measure and report directly to Marketing Manager and Directors
As our successful candidate you have to:
Be highly organised with an ability to prioritise task for the best impact to the business goals.
Be a deadline junky and a serious planner.
Be driven and hungry to learn and progress
Have a desire to be the best
Be an Innovator, a creator, a disrupter – think outside the box – we love new ideas
Be an excellent writer & orator, have great spelling and grammar
Be extremely computer literate, familiar with graphic software such as Canva
Be brilliant with Microsoft office programmes
Be aesthetically aware with a flair for good design and able to follow our branding guidelines
Terms and Benefits
This is a full-time position which can be flexible in hours and location, but you must be able to commute to the Head Office in Burnley on a weekly basis & all over the UK as and when required. This role will require weekends and evenings to cover shows events and live social interactions.
We have an amazing marketing team including, web developers, SEO & PPC people, Brand, Graphic & Marketing consultants – therefore we can really offer training growth and progression for the right person.

Ability to commute/relocate: Burnley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education: Bachelor's (preferred)
