R. Plevin & Sons Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our busy team based in the North West. Working on a full time, permanent basis you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

R. Plevin & Sons is a UK market leader in wood recycling and the manufacture of animal bedding.

Purpose of the Marketing Manager role:

To work with the sales team to grow brand awareness for our quality animal bedding products and increase sales across all product lines.  To oversee the management of the Plevin brand and its associated products and brands, ensuring consistency within the marketplace and increased brand awareness.

As our Marketing Manager your duties will include:

• Increasing brand awareness and market share
• Managing the public image of both the Plevin and Snowflake brands
• Placing Plevin Products as a leading supplier in its market sectors
• Management of company websites and social media

Qualifications and experience needed to become our Marketing Manager:

• Essential to be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office packages including Excel and Word.
• Degree in Marketing / Public Relations / Communications or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Experience in marketing in equestrian sales, pet bedding or waste sector is desirable.
• A proven track record in marketing or public relations is essential.

This is an office based role, and is a new role, our Sales team is based at the Mossley Office in Ashton-under-Lyne, however, we will also welcome applicants from the Sheffield, Nottingham, Midlands area as we have a site based at Crow Edge and one based at Retford.
