The British Horse Society is the nations leading equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals.

As part of a team, you will be working on all aspects of membership and competitions administration for British Riding Clubs, which currently includes over 500 Clubs and Centres and 34,000 members.

Equine knowledge is essential in this role. Reporting to the Manager of BRC, your role will include the administration of club membership lists, invoicing for affiliation fees, competition entries and much more.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Competent with Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel,
  • Be able to work under pressure and operate effectively as part of a team as well as individually.
  • Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a good attention to detail and accuracy of work. 
  • A strong customer service ethos is required along with a confident manner.
