Mount St John is a private estate set in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside in England. We specialise in breeding dressage youngstock and dressage horses of the highest standard and are currently breeding with around fifty quality dressage mares per season. This includes a high proportion of embryo transfers from elite sport mares currently competing. We also have several competition horses in training with elite dressage riders.
We are a busy set up and it requires a first class office manager to head up the daily running and coordination of various aspects which includes 150 horses and 10 staff
This exciting opportunity requires a candidate with previous office / management /PA experience to join our team and hit the ground running.

Advanced knowledge of horses is needed along with a passion for equestrian/ outdoor life. This role will suit candidates who like a challenge, variety and to be part of a fast evolving international business. We are looking for someone who is organised and efficient, but flexible within the role; who enjoys problem solving, while being personable, with excellent communication skills to liaise across a number of stakeholders, as well as with the business owner. High standards of presentation and confidentiality are essential.
Must be confident in all Microsoft office software, email, mailchimp newsletters, analysis tools on social media/ newsletter etc. and photo/video editing skills would be a bonus.
Responsibilities include:
Office administration
First point of contact in the office email, phone and face to face
Daily management of staff, rotas, holidays
Client liaison & communication with various stakeholders (owners, riders, vets)
Documentation & organisation of horses / competitions / riders
Documentation & organisation of mares
Assisting the MD with travel arrangements and other ad hoc tasks
Competitive salary dependant on experience.
This is a full time office based post, we are located in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
