Operations Assistant – Keyflow Feeds

Producers of High Quality Horse Feed, redefining equine nutrition, we believe in more nutrients, lower feed rates, easier to digest.

Keyflow exists to transform equine health and performance through nutrition. We are a popular and rapidly expanding company, based in North Wiltshire.

We have an opportunity to join our busy team as Operations Assistant to help with the smooth running of the day to day functions at our Head Office in Marlborough.

The day to day tasks can vary, the role will primarily help provide administrative support to the Office, Sales and Operations Team.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording B2B and B2C sales orders received through various channels

  • Using multiple Zoho programmes to produce correspondence, documents and record keeping

  • Handling customer orders and delivery queries over the phone and email

  • Booking on daily orders with pallet networks and couriers, for B2B and B2C accounts

  • Liaising with the Sales Team, providing updates on relevant orders

  • Working with hauliers and couriers for deliveries and collections from various sites, including coordinating transport with suppliers both domestically and internationally

  • Working closely with suppliers and manufacturers maintaining controlled stock management, monitoring stock levels, implementing stock control processes

  • Working alongside Managing Director and Technical Operations Manager when enquiring about quotes, pricing changes and updates

  • Creating, improving and following company procedures and processes

  • Using and developing tools to streamline stock monitoring and reordering

  • Following procedures for raw material procurement and raising purchase orders

  • Providing administrative support with export preparation

  • General office duties 

The successful candidate will have

  • Very strong administrative skills,

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficient IT skills & familiar with various packages (mac)

  • You’ll be a team player but also confident to work alone, able to work on your own initiative and keen to take on responsibility.

  • Knowledge or familiarity of horse feed or the equine world would be an advantage ( an understanding of NOPS) as would export administration, but not essential.

This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday. Based at our Head quarters in Marlborough, Wiltshire. Our offices are located in an idylic rural location, own transport is required.

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year dependant upon relevant experience
