Salary: Circa £30,000pa 

Weatherbys are seeking a Racecourse Client Relationship Manager to join their team in Wellingborough. Our business works with UK racecourses in the development of their racecards and printed materials and has exciting opportunities to further develop this business.  The role will be responsible for building successful and dynamic customer relationships, business plans and delivering annual operating plan financial targets. 

The key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of our annual commercial business plans.
  • Build ‘win win’ customer relationships with UK racecourses.
  • Lead negotiations of racecard contracts and print materials with UK & Ireland racecourses. 
  • Work closely with the Racecourse Marketing Exec on the development of new product ideas and presentations materials for selling our Weatherbys product portfolio into racecourses. 
  • Build relationships across all levels of UK racecourses to maximise our Weatherbys business. 

The successful candidate will be innovative, with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will have proven sales experience and be a first class negotiator. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential requirements for this role. A passion for horse racing, ideally with industry experience across racecourses, bookmakers or racing associations is required.
