The British Horse Society (BHS) is the nation’s largest equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, equestrian centres, enthusiasts and professionals. Everything we do is driven by the desire to improve the lives of horses and bring horses and people together.
As part of the Development Team, the Regional Manager (RM) will be accountable for building a strong BHS community within the London and South East region and delivering our core objectives around participation, education, welfare, access and safety.
Working closely with the BHS Volunteer Committees, Head Office teams and external bodies, you will;
Knowledge of the equestrian industry is essential plus a flexible approach to working as evening and weekend work is required.
A customer focused orientation is essential together with excellent interpersonal communication, organisational and IT skills. You will need to be a self-starter and be able to work alone and as part of a team. Applicants must reside in the region which is Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London.
