Regional Sales Manager

Due to company expansion ARKequine is currently recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for the United Kingdom. A solutions driven brand, ARKequine exclusively commercializes a number of highly proven equine nutrition and healthcare brands directly to the end user. This role holds particular focus on the Thoroughbred industry.

ARKequine, established in 2021, is an equine focused company based in County Kildare, Ireland. ARKequine develops and markets products that help address the most common health issues in horses, with particular focus on supporting performance.

Reporting to the Equine Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales in line with agreed targets through the development of excellent customer relationships.

We are looking for a results driven and highly motivated individual who is customer focused, willing to take on a new challenge in a competitive marketplace and ambitious to pursue a career in sales.

The ideal candidate would have a degree level qualification or equivalent in an equine or animal science related discipline, however we would be also interested in any candidates with direct practical industry experience.  Previous sales experience is essential.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • An excellent working knowledge of the Thoroughbred and Sport Horse industries
  • A team player with the ability to work independently
  • Computer Literate with good knowledge of Excel, Word, Office, Outlook.
  • Ability to organise and manage their time effectively
  • A friendly, confident and professional manner when dealing with customers
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • An interest in equine nutrition and healthcare
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK

We offer an excellent remuneration package including company car, IT equipment and performance related bonus to the successful candidate. 

Overnight stays away from home and attendance at weekend exhibitions will be occasionally required.
