Due to company growth A.Perry & Co, supplier of hardware and gardening products are now looking for a new sales account manager to grow customer accounts, develop customer relations, and secure new business.

A.Perry & Co are a very well-established family run business that have been supplying the trade since 1925. The position will be to work solely on one of Perry's fastest growing brand called Perry Equestrian which has seen significant growth in the past 18 months an is on track to double its revenue this year. 

This is a fantastic development opportunity to grow and build on existing skills in a fast pace sales office environment, where the candidate will be mentored and if willing, be taught everything they need to know to become a formidable salesperson.

The successful candidate must have previous tele sales experience and industry experience, be heavily driven, have good work ethics and will be passionate about the products they sell. 

The account manager will be expected to:

  • Utilize our vast account database to grow existing customers and convert new business
  • Generate own leads to secure new business
  • Be able and willing to visit customers off site
  • Be a key part of the trade show sales team during exhibitions
  • Help with general customer service and administrative tasks

Candidate requirements:

  • Have competent IT skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sales experience
  • Hold a UK driving licence with access to a car
  • Above all else be driven and hungry
