Location: Kirmond-Le-Mire, Market Rasen, North Lincolnshire Office-based (with travel for events and client visits)
Hours: Full-time or flexible hours
Salary: Competitive salary for the right candidate, dependent upon experience.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Executive to join our team.

This role is ideal for an equestrian enthusiast with a background in sales and marketing. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing customer relationships, and overseeing marketing activities, including social media management and event representation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit new and existing clients to promote our products and strengthen relationships.

  • Manage and grow Baillie Haylage’s social media presence (content creation, scheduling, engagement, and advertising).

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, sponsorships, and promotions.

  • Handle customer enquiries, process sales orders, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Liaise with both couriers, Baillie Haylage lorries and customers to coordinate deliveries and logistics.

  • Contribute to website updates where necessary.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Equestrian background (professional or personal).

  • Experience in sales and/or marketing

  • Experience managing social media pages for a business

  • Willingness to travel for events and client visits (a valid driver’s license is essential).

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work as both part of a team and upon own initiative

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Ability to problem solve and adopt a flexible approach 

Highly Advantageous: 

  • Experience with social media advertising and marketing campaign

  • Previous experience with SAGE or similar systems
     

Training can be given where necessary, skills can be gained and it’s more important to have a positive outlook and willingness to learn!
