An opportunity for a sales assistant to join our friendly and fun team at Colne Saddlery Monday to Wednesday 9.00am-5.00pm and 2 Saturday's a month 9.00am - 5.00pm. Due to maternity cover for a 12 month period this position will be full time.

Colne Saddlery is a thriving equestrian store in the heart of the Cotswolds, incorporating a traditional workshop for leather repairs, a saddle fitting service as well as stocking a huge variety of equestrian products for both horse and rider.

The job vacancy requires a sales assistant to work alongside our shop manager.

Their roles would include:

• Assisting Customers
• Stock Taking
• Dealing with deliveries
• Taking phone enquiries
• Potential for further work on the trade stand

The successful candidate will require the following attributes

• Equestrian experience and knowledge (product training will be given)
• Excellent communicator (face to face), must have a natural ability to communicate with all customers and staff
• You will be self-motivated with the ability to work within the team
• Must be computer literate, with experience in all programs within Microsoft Office
• Well organised, with a high attention to detail, efficient and quick thinking with good common sense.
• 100% reliable and trustworthy
