Equine America (UK) Ltd has been the leading international supplier of equine supplements for over 20 years offering a complete range of natural quality feed supplements and applications including our premium joint supplement CORTAFLEX®

Equine America has an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager in the North / South of England.

With this opportunity the successful candidate needs to have a proven track record in a similar field sales role.

Responsibility will include:

  • Sales Account Management
  • New Business Development
  • Overseeing and supporting the existing regional agents in your territory
  • Monitor all sales activity, report on sales requirements, training, support etc
  • Attend trade shows in your area along with the team

The successful candidate requirements:

  • Driven, forward thinking and tenacious
  • Personable
  • Willing and able to travel to meet the needs of the role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Diligent in all administration
  • A proven track record in Sales is essential
  • A full UK driving licence is required

The successful candidate will be a reliable and professional individual, representing the brand at all times. A familiarity of the industry and competition is advantageous.

A nutritional background is preferred but not essential as product training will be provided.

A flexible attitude towards working hours is required, as is the ability to travel regularly within your area to manage the demands of the job. Working occasional evenings and weekends will be required when necessary. A regular day at Head Office will be required.

The successful candidate will ideally be located centrally in the North of England to cover the required area.
