Area Sales Manager Required - for Midlands/Eastern Counties
Stockshop Country Ltd is a well-respected and long established UK wholesaler with a broad portfolio of products that cover equestrian, farm and country, pet, poultry and include the Wolseley brand of horse clippers and electric fencing.
We are looking to recruit a focussed and highly motivated Area Sales Manager for Eastern Counties (ideally based in the Midlands/East Anglia) to sell our range of over 3,500 products to the retail trade.
The successful candidate will be well presented, self-motivated and will have a proven and successful track record in sales. They will be focussed, target driven and forward thinking. They should be organised, personable and able to build relationships. They should ideally have knowledge and experience of the agricultural, smallholder and/or equestrian market. They will also be expected to work away from home as and when required.
Sales Representative Job Duties:
Service existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establish new accounts and sales growth by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
Submit orders in keeping with price lists and product literature.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions
Maintain and analyse records on area and customer sales.
Attend sales meetings and contribute to team effort.
Participate at trade shows and attend customer open days
Full product training will be given.
Salary commensurate with experience.
