A Busy retailer of equestrian, pet and small holder products. Our large store is based in Tunbridge Wells, where we also manage our thriving online retail sales. Aside from the in store and online sales activity - Delivery is also a key part of our business serving customers both locally and nationally.

We have a current opportunity for an experienced Store Manager.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy and friendly family run team. The Store Manager will oversee all daily operations of the retail, ecommerce and delivery sides of the business. They need to be passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service and driving sales and all KPI.
The Store Manager will be responsible for motivated & engaging staff and to ensure the staff represent and embrace the Broadfeed values and goals. They will also hold regular team meetings to communicate with the staff at all levels.

Responsibilities could range from – but not limited to

  • Rotas & Staffing – recruitment, training, development, performance

  • Working to targets in collaborating with the team  

  • Completing payroll activities

  • To ensure all HR & H & S policies and procedures are adhered to

  • To comply with Data Protection and GDPR regulations

  • Accrue a comprehensive knowledge of all store, delivery and online processes.

  • Stock management, including buying activity

  • Customer Service, complaint handling

  • Store presentation

  • Ecommerce & delivery activity

  • Social Media

  • Ultimately focusing on increasing sales

The successful candidate will be:

  • Commercially minded with a proven track record in a similar management role

  • Be a real people person who thoroughly enjoys interacting with customers and their team

  • Be enthusiastic with a warm and approachable personality

  • Have proven experience of managing a country / equestrian / pet store

  • Have a thorough understanding of retailing

  • Be a real team player who is willing to get stuck into all areas of the business

  • Be focussed on providing excellent customer service at all times

This is a great opportunity for a forward thinking, professional individual who wants to make a difference and lead a busy team, you will hit the ground running and be a proactive manager from day one.  
As this is a store based position, working 5 days per week with some weekend work, candidates need to live locally and able to commute to store daily.
