Processing around 500 orders per day servicing around 2500 customers UK wide and internationally.
We are looking for a category manager with equine knowledge and the ability to work flexibly 24 hours per week up to full time hours.
The role will be offered initially on a temporary maternity cover basis but may evolve into a new permanent role after the return of the current post holder.
The successful applicant will need:
To foster and maintain excellent relationships with our suppliers.
Review and develop our non-medicines product categories across equine, pet and agricultural everyday essentials
Liaise with suppliers to maintain accurate product master data information
Collaborate with our replenishment and marketing teams to ensure availability, financial and commercial objectives are achieved
Essential Criteria – the successful candidate will have/be
Experience of a trading category management role in a wholesale or retail environment
Good attention to detail.
Competent user of Microsoft tools especially Excel.
Professional and flexible approach.
Able to prioritise own workload.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary will be dependent on experience. Salary range £29,000 - £38,000.
The role is open to “hybrid” working. Candidates must be able to attend our Head Office in, Wesham Northwest England a minimum of 1 day per week.
