Connolly’s RED MILLS are a 5^th generation family business with a strong presence in the UK Equine feed and supplement markets. We are actively searching for a new member to join our highly successful UK Team. Reporting to UK Thoroughbred Sales Manager, this field-based role involves key account management, identifying potential customers and developing awareness of the Connolly’s RED MILLS products.

Key Responsibilities:

Applicants must already reside within the East of England, preferably within easy commuting distance of Newmarket, and ideally should be able to demonstrate the following: 

• Practical equine experience and knowledge of the Thoroughbred industry essential
• Highly motivated, with a proven track record in sales
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• The ability to build strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work alone, as well as part of a small team
• A personable, positive and professional manner when dealing with customers
• Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
• A full, clean driving licence
• Nutritional or Equine Science qualifications desirable but not essential as fully training will be provided
