Ensuring our Trade Sales & Customer Service department runs smoothly and is able to deliver a first class service to these stockists is a vital part of our success and growth as a company.
Due to an existing member of our team transferring to another department internally, we are now looking for a well-organised, customer focused individual to join our Trade team in West Wellow, near Romsey.
Duties will include but may not be limited to
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries to resolve customer queries and provide product advice
- Processing sales orders
- Coordinating activities of the department and supporting other team members with general administrative assistance as and when required
- Organising customer/account information, monitoring sales & progress (delivery schedules etc)
- Liaising with multiple internal departments regarding stock/products and orders on behalf of the customer
Your Attributes
- You’re experienced working in a business that has external B2B clients/customers and are confident in communicating with them
- You have been working in a sales or sales support role for minimum of 1 year
- You have excellent organisation skills
- You are capable of multi-tasking with an ability to work under pressure during peak periods
- You don’t mind whether you’re working within the wider team or if you’re operating alone using your own initiative
- You have excellent spelling and grammar (due to answering email enquiries)
- You’re highly computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel and are confident in learning new IT systems
- You could be an equestrian-enthusiast with knowledge of a wide range of equine/equestrian related products already – this would be advantageous, but not essential
- You should possess a professional, friendly, articulate and confident telephone manner
