Trainee Account Handler

Salary: £22,000 per annum (plus discretionary bonus)

Due to the continuing, rapid growth of the business, we are looking to appoint a Trainee Account Handler to join our Wellingborough office.  The successful candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic to help maintain the excellent standards of customer service which Weatherbys Hamilton provides and who will assist in servicing a wide variety of bloodstock clients.  Prior insurance experience is not essential as full training will be provided.  

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the:-

• Handling of insurance quotations for clients and interacting as necessary with insurers.
• Preparation of and issuing of renewal invitations.
• Processing of risks, producing invoices, preparing and checking policy documentation.
• Collection of premiums.
• Administration of claims.
• Obtaining veterinary reports and injury/illness updates.
• Managing correspondence to clients.

You will present a professional image to customers at all times, and ensure that all insurance responsibilities are correctly undertaken.  These are key elements to the role.  The ability to work accurately and efficiently is essential, as is a positive attitude and proactive approach to working practices. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and will thrive working in a fast paced team. You will be conscientious and diligent in your work approach.  Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as a flexible attitude to work are essential to meet our clients’ needs.
