Training and Education Co-ordinator, RDA UK

RDA UK is looking for a Training and Education Coordinator to join our Training and Education team here at our National Office in Shrewley, Warwickshire. You’ll be great at organising your time, planning and project delivery and have strong communication skills, especially over the phone and via email. You’ll love being pro-active and showing initiative when supporting and working with thousands of amazing volunteers across the UK and being a supportive team member. Location: Office based at RDA National Office, Lowlands Equestrian Centre, Shrewley (approx. 5 miles to the West of Warwick)
At Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), our horses benefit the lives of over 25,000 disabled children and adults. With fun activities like riding and carriage driving, we provide therapy, fitness, skills development, and opportunities for achievement – all supported by 18,000 amazing volunteers and trained coaches at nearly 500 RDA groups and commercial riding centres all over the UK.

Role Purpose:
To organize training and continual professional development for the coaching workforce within RDA, supporting the RDA UK Training and Education Objectives in line with our strategy; providing support for the rest of the Training and Education team, volunteers and member groups with a continual emphasis on delivery of service and the need to increase the capacity of RDA to work with more participants.

The dedicated and committed staff team at RDA National Office supports the work of around 460 individual RDA groups and a further 50 commercial riding centres throughout the UK. Location
Our office is based at the RDA National Training Centre just outside Warwick. We are situated in a stunning 34-acre rural site, with ample parking and free electric charging points. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the office by prior agreement to aid job satisfaction and wellbeing.
