TRAINING ASSESSOR IN HORSE CARE & MANAGEMENT 

Salary: £5,166 - £5,509 per annum (Scale SO1)

Working hours: 7.5 hours per week  All year round  Permanent

Job purpose: 

We are seeking a Trainer Assessor to join our Land Based Section. The ideal candidate will have strong industry experience, vocational knowledge, be enthusiastic and flexible to ensure high quality delivery and success for learners. 

The Animal Care and Equine Department is highly successful and has seen considerable success in the wide range of educational programmes that are offered.

The Equine programmes include: Level 2 Apprenticeship in Horse Care, Work Based Diplomas Levels 1 & 2 in Horse Care, Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management, Level 2 Diploma in Horse Care.

The new post holder will have the opportunity to be involved in a team of highly committed and professional staff to further develop Level 2 & 3 Equine Apprenticeships.

• The role of Trainer Assessor will assist with the development of our Apprenticeship programmes and be key in continuing our success in delivering this provision by ensuring the timely completion of candidates.
• The role will also be key in maintaining links with employers to ensure candidates are successful.
