The Horse Trust is the oldest equine charity in the world.
We provide retirement and respite to working horses, ponies and donkeys, as well as caring for rescue cases who have suffered neglect or abuse. As the second largest provider of grant funding for equine welfare in the UK, we are continually committed to a programme of welfare, science and education.
We are looking for positive, open minded and passionate individuals to join our Knowledge and Skills team who train both people and equines.
Our Knowledge and Skills team provide high quality, evidence-based training covering equine handling and behaviour, equine management, and legal requirements, to our internal equine care team, external professionals, and emergency responders. The training is delivered both in person and virtually using our online learning platform. The team also provide the training to our resident and intake equines to ensure the best possible physical and emotional health to our horses.
This is a great opportunity to join our highly motivated team, in a role that will allow the right candidates to be involved in a wide range of activities dependent on their background and experience as well as gaining additional knowledge in a highly supportive environment.

Based: Speen, Buckinghamshire
Salary Range: c. £18,000.00-£26,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week.
Annual Leave: 25 days per year plus bank holidays.
