We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Milton Keynes.
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery (pick and pack, label & ship).
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products (unload, label & store).
- Dealing with picking/packing/despatch issues internally and set countermeasures to avoid reoccurrence.
- Ensure accuracy of stock levels and perform inventory controls.
- Pallet movements - in/out of pallet racking bays.
- Ensuring deliveries are picked and packed correctly.
- Make sure all stock is labelled and stored correctly.
- Delivery to depots/customers.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles, equipment, and other company vehicles
- Keep the workplace tidy and safe.
- Ensuring Health & Safety is always at the forefront.
- Carry out general warehouse duties.
The ideal warehouse operative will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Must have a driving license and forklift truck license
- Experience in using FLT to load/offload lorries.
- English and Mathematical skills, both written and verbal, to be able to execute day-to-day duties without assistance.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit - able to lift
- Efficient time management
- Must be a team player and able to use a computer.
- Flexible attitude to work
