Bransby Horses is one of the leading horse rescue charities in the UK and with the generosity of our supporters, is dedicated to improving the lives of horses, donkeys and mules.  We are working harder than ever to make a positive difference to equine welfare across the UK.

Bransby Horses has more than 400 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules to meet and with a full calendar of events throughout the year, including adoption days and pony grooming, there is something for everyone at our Visitor Centre. The beautiful 600 acre site has endless walkways for visitors to explore, a café, gift shop, and exhibition, play park and picnic area.

We have  an exciting opportunity within our Internal Office team as a Welfare Coordinator. This role is key to the planning, and day to day administration of over 400 equines. The role would suit someone who learns quickly and enjoys working in a fast paced environment with good problem solving skills. Previous veterinary practice experience and a good understanding of drug legislation and pharmacy skills would be an advantage.  Managing stock and placing orders is key with a high attention to detail required for date inputting and KPI gathering. Excellent IT skills are required alongside experience of data bases. This role requires you to develop and maintain effective relationships with our vet team, farm staff, contractors and suppliers to meet the needs of the equines in our care.

This role is temporary for up to 12 months whilst the current post-holder is seconded to another role within the Charity.

The salary is c. £21000 per annum  and comes with an attractive benefits package. 

The hours of work are 37.5 per week.
