The BHS Horse Care & Welfare team receive hundreds of enquiries and thousands of visits to our website advice every year. To ensure that our welfare educational resources remain current, and the production of new content, we are now looking for a Welfare Education Coordinator. The role includes attending our proactive events and working directly with a wide range of people.

Working as part of a proactive team, you will be responsible for the continued success of ensuring our horse care & welfare advice remains current, supported by peer-reviewed evidence-based science which is engaging and achievable for horse owners/carers to action. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication, engaging written skills and a great understanding of social media platforms and Human Behaviour Change. You must have the ability to create innovative new resources, manage a busy workload and be responsive to changing situations that may require a reactive response. Exceptionally strong equine knowledge and experience of working in the equine sector is essential for this role.
Reporting to the Welfare Education Manager, the Welfare Education Coordinator role will include delivering on our vital proactive work which includes our Horse Health Days and Healthcare & Education Clinics.
