The British Horse Society is the nation’s leading equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing department within the BHS. Due to the growth of the education function of the Welfare Department, we are recruiting a Welfare Education Coordinator to facilitate the production and development of all welfare educational materials and events.
You will be responsible for
You will have a strong ability to prioritise and work under pressure. You will have excellent equine knowledge and an understanding of Human Behaviour Change. You will be confident in delivering advice and education to all horse owners, members of the public and key stakeholders.
This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of welfare education. You must be happy to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends.
