Full Time - 35 hours per week (working hours)

Based at our new HQ near Stoneleigh, Warwickshire 

The British Horse Society is the nation’s largest equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals. 

The ethos of the British Horse Society is to improve the welfare of horses through education and we take a proactive approach to improving the lives of horses. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing welfare team.

  • This new role will be responsible for the organisation, coordination and delivery of proactive healthcare clinics and welfare events throughout the UK.
  • This position is full time and will be based at our HQ in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, but will involve frequent travel throughout the UK and include some overnight stays, evening and weekend work. 
  • This role will produce educational materials and develop interactive activities to drive public engagement at events.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with other welfare charities and organisations and possess the ability to communicate with all sectors of the equine community.
  • This role requires an exceptionally organised and motivated person with project management experience and the ability to manage work and people with diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with a huge range of stakeholders. Equine knowledge is essential. The successful candidate must have their own vehicle suitable for business use.
