THE NATIONAL HORSERACING COLLEGE 

Work Based Learning Manager - £36,286.64

(37-hours per week) 

The National Horseracing College seeks to employ a Work Based Learning Manager to join its enthusiastic, vibrant and hardworking team.  As one of only two specialist horse racing colleges in the UK, this third sector provider delivers training for people in both racing and other equine industries.  Located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster, it achieved Ofsted Grade 2 in 2016. 

To be selected for this interesting, challenging role, you must have;

  • A Level 3 qualification in Racecourse Care and Management or equivalent
  • A teaching qualification i.e. Certificate of Education or equivalent is essential
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages

Due to the nature of the role applicants will need to hold a UK Driving Licence.  Relevant staff management experience in a busy equine environment, and knowledge and or experience of working in a Racing Yard are also essential. 

Hours of work:  37 per week, we are prepared to be flexible on how and where this is worked. 

The salary is £36,286.64 per annum with a contributory pension scheme, an initial holiday entitlement of 25 days, plus Bank Holidays, and membership of our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
