Workplace Instructor - Part Time

The British Racing School provides training for people who wish to work in the horseracing industry, this training is initially delivered by an experienced team of Instructors here at the school in Newmarket. The young people then begin an Apprenticeship in Racehorse Care in a racing yard, these yards are based all over the country. While on the Apprenticeship, Workplace Instructors continue the training and support for these learners.

A vacancy has now arisen for a part-time Workplace Instructor in the Newmarket area to cover approximately 25hrs per week. The hours can be flexible and will be arranged each month between the young person, the racing yard and the Workplace Instructor. 

• A Level 3 Diploma in Racehorse Care and a Coaching qualification are desirable but candidates who are willing to work towards these will be considered. 

• Experience working in horseracing is essential as is the ability to drive and manage your own time.
