WORKPLACE INSTRUCTOR (part-Time) South West

The British Racing School requires a Workplace Instructor to take on a portfolio of Trainees working in racing yards in the South West area.  This post is part-time. The position involves teaching, assessing and supporting young people on the Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Racehorse Care.

Essential Skills/Qualifications - Experience working in a racing yard, a good level of Maths and English (minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent), good communication skills, IT skills, a flexible approach to working with trainees and employers. A full driving licence & willing to use own vehicle is required.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications - Level 3 Diploma in Racehorse Care & Management, Assessor Qualifications, Teaching Qualifications or willingness to undertake further training provided by the BRS where necessary.

Hours and pay: up to 15 hours per week at a rate of £13.80 per hour
